She reclaims her freedom,
as she leapt from the tower,
for fate, is a cruel lover,
it's affection dour.
Tumbling down from heaven
the saint of suffering,
fair lady in flowers.
Amongst graves
death stalks her steps
all the same.
The petals unfurl,
desecrated by cowards,
our lady of grace
shriveled in the shadow.
Heads hang in shame,
now that she is gone today,
they cry out,
but they cry in vain.
Torn in twain and left in tatters
lay the goddess of tears,
our lady of flowers.
