Seattle Parks & Recreation have announced the cancellation of all programming, rentals, and permitted events, and will close all community centers, pools, and environmental learning centers to the public.
The move, which went into effect Friday and will last until at least April 13, is to comply with recent prohibitions on events with more than 250 people, and a prohibition on events with less than 250 people, unless they meet public health guidance on social distancing and hygiene.
