Brewer instructs/facilitate master classes, clinics, workshops, and lectures for the likes of Stanford Jazz Workshop, SFJAZZ, The Jazz School, Jazz Camp West and many others. Brewer has produced and released 8 nationally acclaimed albums (two releasing in February 2014) on the record label he started in 2005, Strong Brew Music. Those albums have had several top 15 and top 10 appearances on the national jazz charts. Community: Beacon Hill Meaningful Movies: Princess Angeline Details:Princess Angeline is a film which tells the history of the Duwamish Tribe, Seattle's first people. It uses the life of the daughter of Chief Seattle to examine the treatment and ultimate displacement of many of the tribes members from our city. More recent history of the tribe and their struggle for federal recognition of their tribal status is also examined. Film makers Yasu an Sandra Osawa will attend and have copies of the film for sale at a reduced price.
