Latinos in Tech, an initiative by the Latino Community Fund that provides networking opportunities for Latino professionals and students in the technology industry, is seeking high schoolers interested in learning how to blog for their Youth Inspired Blogger Bootcamp!
From Latinos in Tech: "This project aims to share the stories of Latinx & BIPOC folks in STEM in order to make these fields more accessible to our community. This will be an opportunity for youth to network with professionals and gain experience writing for publication."
The deadline to apply is Oct. 6 at 11:59 p.m. This is a paid position.

The Seattle School District is requesting modifications (also known as 'departures') from several City zoning regulations for:

"Upon receiving your feedback, the comments will be shared with the director of Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, Andrs Mantilla. After reviewing, he will provide the recommendations regarding the proposed departures to the director of Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections for the final decision.

Sea Potential, an organization committed to cultivating a full cycle of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color representation in the maritime industry, is offering a new program for youth called Get Into It!: Maritime! Youth ages 12—15 will explore their connection to marine ecosystems, learn about job opportunities, meet BIPOC professionals within the maritime industry, and go on fun field trips.
The program runs from Oct. 23 to Feb. 5 with in-person meetings every other Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and four Zoom sessions on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
