D. Lark Inc. dba McDonald's and the Rainier Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting the "Dine at McDonald's & Send a Kid to College" program on Tuesday, February 28, 4:00-6:00pm at the McDonald's, 2336 25th Ave S Seattle, WA 98144 (across from Lowe's) on Tuesday, February 28th, 4:00-6:00pm.

During that two hour window of opportunity, 40% of proceeds will be donated to the Susi Burdick Memorial Scholarship Fund, which supports Southeast Seattle youth's college tuition. Mr. Majix, Darrell Fisher, will entertain customers with his amazing magic tricks! Plus, McDonald's will show off its newly renovated restaurant, including special tours of the kitchen, just for us!

For 30 years, the Rainier Chamber's Foundation has offered scholarships to Southeast Seattle high school seniors going to any post-secondary school: trade, community college and/or four-year college/university. The Susi Burdick Memorial Scholarship Fund's recipients are chosen for their academics, community engagement and personal statement. Candidates need to live and attend high school in Southeast Seattle and applications are due on April 10, 2017 for the 2017-18 academic year.

"Every bit helps for kids facing enormous tuition bills," said Rainier Chamber's Board President, Marcus Macklin. "Dine at McDonald's gives all of us an opportunity to invest in our local kids' future. Just by buying a burger, wrap, salad, and fries, we can feel proud of our contribution to launch our kids!"

Join us on Tuesday for fun, food and SE Seattle kids' future! Check out the full menu.
