Jordan Compton

Jordan Compton (she/her) is lifelong Seattle resident whose career has spanned the arts, media, and social justice work. She brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit development, administration, and board leadership from roles at organizations including Pacific Northwest Ballet, Freehold Theatre, and Town Hall Seattle. In 2019, she served as a co-organizer for the Seattle Women's March & Day of Action, conceptualizing three panel discussions, of which she led two: Women of Color in the Workplace and Mental Wellness for Women of Color. In 2013, she contributed her writing to The Better Bombshell, a print and digital book project asking local writers and artists to reflect on the everchanging female role model. The project was featured at Bumbershoot Music Festival. In 2010, she was invited to Teen Vogue Fashion University, a weekend-long conference in New York for emerging talents in fashion and journalism. The throughline of her work is a commitment to storytelling and shedding light on the human experience.
