Madison Jones

Madison Jones (she/they) is a Seattle-based journalist, bookworm, and proud Transgender woman. With 75+ articles published in the United States and abroad, in her writing she has covered a plethora of topics, including LGBTQIA+ issues, travel, entertainment, and politics. She obtained her MA in political science from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada) in 2021. And in the time since, she has worked jobs across the city from being a field organizer with WashingtonCAN to a paraeducator for Seattle Public Schools. These days, she keeps herself primarily occupied as managing editor of the third-oldest LGBTQIA+ newspaper in the United States, the Seattle Gay News (SGN).
