Ubax Gardheere

Ubax Gardheere is a passionate advocate for racial equity and transformative justice based in King County. Born in exile and having navigated the challenges of economic injustice, forced migration, and displacement across East Africa, she anchored herself in King County over 30 years ago. She is a recovering "Beaur-Activist" and as a single parent, she draws inspiration from her three children, her biological and surrogate community, and is committed to creating a more equitable future for all. A resilient voice against both local and national adversities. Ubax champions the dreams and aspirations of her community, leveraging her personal journey to inspire and lead change.
