Lauren Rosenthal

Lauren Rosenthal is a graduate student in the Communications Leadership program at the University of Washington and works as a communications strategist for the university's Center for Journalism, Media, and Democracy (CJMD). She focuses on storytelling, digital engagement, and equity-driven communications. As a freelance journalist, she has written for Formidable, the South Seattle Emerald, College Magazine, and various publications local to Ventura and Los Angeles Counties such as The Acorn, covering civic life, education, social justice, and culture. She holds B.A.s in English and anthropology from UCLA and is completing her M.A. in communication – digital media at UW.
