Hillary Montes De Oca-Salazar (She/Her) is a reporter and writer for the South Seattle Emerald through the University of Washington Premier Internship Program. She is getting a degree at UW in philosophy and journalism & public interest. She is passionate to highlight the lives of those who are underrepresented in the media and empower their stories.
